Friends House is opposite Euston Station, a 15-minute walk from King's Cross Station or hop on a bus (free with a one-day travel rail ticket or bus pass) from across the road from King's Cross Station.
The Centre has lots of standard texts and intriguing books on Quakers, religion, philosophy and related green issues.
There's also good Quaker soup, cake and healthy foods to sustain you - or push the boat out at Friends House Restaurant - and on a sunny day eat in the inner courtyard.
Don't miss the Library - with all books Quaker beyond your imagination. Try to find/ donate something they have not got! Bring pencil and paper as this is all you can take in (lockers outside for the rest!). Soak up the atmosphere of a traditional library and take in interesting pictures, old posters and, by the door, a small display on a Quaker theme.
Nayler is a lively free online magazine for Quakers to share with each other and newcomers their experience of the Quaker way.
Nayler.org hosts a wide variety of contributions on Quaker themes, activities and thinking and other lively contemporary content along with news items such as peace promotion and conciliation activities by Quakers in Kenya for the March 2013 election.
